Volunteering refers to voluntarily participating in social welfare activities. But more recently, volunteering became not just limited to participating in social welfare activities but also the emerging social problems.
In Esther Ha Foundation, there are many events in which you can use your talents to help. You can assist with events hosted by our foundation and other suicide prevention activities. Volunteering will be a good opportunity to develop your abilities and find joy of respecting life and helping others.
*For students, our foundation provides volunteer credits as a 501©(3) Organization.
Esther Ha Foundation will not leave a struggling comrade-in-arms on the battlefield. We will work together to save one's life. It will not be a one-time event but we will actively and continuously work to help people regain their strength. We will also make efforts to increase the value of life through a cooperation of various motivated people.
Ways to Help
Only those who have completed their education in Mental Health First Aid and 16 hours of additional class can participate in volunteering for the Help Line. Helpline operates from Monday to Saturday, 10AM to 6PM and 2 volunteers volunteer per two 4-hour shifts. After adding up the volunteer hours, volunteers will be awarded the Annual President’s Volunteer Service Award.
We await for your active participation in warmly giving back to the Korean Society through the Esther Ha Foundation. Thank you.
